Ilm (knowledge in the Islamic context) is not beneficial without faith!

(O Muhammad!) If you obey the majority of those who live on earth, they will lead you away from Allah’s path.

Surah Al-An’am 6:116

(David) said: He hath wronged thee in demanding thine ewe in addition to his ewes, and lo! many partners oppress one another, save such as believe and do good works, and they are few.

Surah Sad 24

Ilm (knowledge in the Islamic context) is not beneficial without faith!

Without knowledge, deeds can not be mature!

The person with knowledge who does not embody this knowledge, that is to say, the person who does not do what his knowledge requires and act on it, only carries it like a burden.

The person who has reached the blessing of faith should try to acquire knowledge and apply it to his deeds.

Then, there will be light upon light.
