If all those who had eyes saw equally, there would be no dispute and quarrel in the world.

Look at it from an alternative perspective, not from where it is spoken. Only then you will find the truth.
Muhyiddîn Ibn ‘Arabî, Tedbirat-ı İlahiye,
When a person is explaining a subject himself or listening to a speaker, he should not limit the subject at hand to a single point of view. There could surely be an intended meaning concerning the subject discussed, there could also be a metaphorical meaning apart from the apparent meaning. However, the person who holds the most mature perspective on that given subject is the one who can most accurately perceive the intended meaning attached to words and grasp what is hidden beyond what is pointed at while not being enslaved by the power of apprehension and not acting on presumption; he evaluates the subject in the light of wisdom, considers and perceives it from all perspectives.
Allah knows best.
